Introduction
What are assets and where can they be found?
The Assets tab can be found at the top of the navigation menu on the right hand side of the Site Dashboard landing page. You will use this page as a central place to store any images, videos or documents you would like to upload to your site (PDFS, JPG & PNG). For example, if referencing a document in Blogs or Pages, you will need to upload it to Assets first.
Assets Drop Down Menu
There is a drop down menu located on the far right hand side of your listed asset or asset folder. This menu allows you to do the following things
Rename
Rename your chosen folder by clicking the Rename button from the drop down menu pictured above. A pop up screen will appear and you will be able to edit your folders name. To save, click the Rename button again.
Move
Move your folder by clicking the Move button from the drop down menu pictured above. A pop up screen will appear and you will then be given the option to either move your chosen folder to an already existing one or to create an entirely new one to move it into.
Copy File URL
When you upload a file to Blutui, it gets hosted on Blutuis content delivery network (CDN). A CDN refers to a geographically distributed group of servers which work together to provide fast delivery of Internet content. This allows for the quick transfer of assets needed for loading Internet content.
Download
Download your image by clicking the Download button from the drop down menu pictured above. Your selected image will now be in your Downloads folder on your laptop.
